One Interesting To Another

Seth Godin’s post entitled “Interesting?” brings up a great point. Just because it is interesting, important, exciting, or urgent to me doesn’t mean it is to you. So how do you make an event, a launch, a product, or service interesting to everyone else?

It’s like Nike; sure everyone needs a shoe, but why theirs? Because they made it appealing. Once something is appealing, it is important or noteworthy.

So the real question is are you creating a service, product, or business that truly is unique? When we are different, we can focus on that difference and use it to attract attention. When we have the attention of others, we become important to more than just our friends and family.

What are you doing that is different? If it’s not clear, that’s something to give some thought to. It’s never too late to step up your game or make some improvements.
